ALDO VERONESI Obituary
ALDO J., age 87, of Wayne, passed away on Nov. 2, 2011. He was the husband of the late Adelaide (nee Rothwell) Veronesi. Aldo enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and was a member of Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. Aldo was a Class of '49 graduate of Penn State and worked as a Civil Engineer for over 45 years. Surviving are (3) children; Susan Veronesi (Rick Williams), Nancy Veronesi (Craig Iffert) and Bill Veronesi (Barbara Walden). Also survived by 6 grandchildren and one great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Sat., Nov. 5, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. St. Isaac Jogues Church on Walker Rd. Wayne, PA. Visitation Sat. morning 9:00 - 9:50 in Church. Int. Mon., Nov. 7th, 11 A.M. Holy Cross Cem., Yeadon, PA.

Dear Susan, Nancy, and Bill;
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I haven't seen you since the 60's on Taylor Avenue, but I remember your Dad taking me on my first fishing trip with Bill and I will never forget that. I love fishing to this day and have to thank your Dad for that. God bless you all.

I spent many saturdays and sundays caddying for Aldo, he was a nice man, and a real gentleman, he always made me laugh. He will be missed.

I so enjoyed playing golf with Aldo over many years. He was still beating me well into his 80s. Great competitor but even a better person. He will be missed by everyone who knew him at WVCC.
