JAY DESJARDINS Obituary
DESJARDINSDr. Jay was a beloved physician, who was also a gifted woodworker, master chess player, vocabulary aficionado and avid golfer. He was an Eagle Scout and US Navy veteran.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Barclay Friends Nursing Home, 700 N. Franklin Street, West Chester, PA 19380 and Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106. To the Desjardins Family,
No kinder or skilled man could have taken care of my parents. Dr. Desjardins saved my father's life! Both of my parents loved the doctor very much. Thank you for sharing him with all of his patients. So sorry to hear about Dr.Desjardins passing.I will always remember what a good friend and how kind he was to our family while living in Havertown.He never hesitated to help us when we needed him! Our deepest condolences to the family.May he rest in peace. Patti Gregg Fanelli
