ALBERT DiEVA Obituary
DiEVAWWII Veteran. In 1947, started his 1st furniture business out of a garage. Owned and operated Al DiEva Furniture in Philadelphia on Passyunk Ave. Working with son, Joseph and grandson, Albert for 68 years. He continued to work in the industry until recently. He loved to travel the world with his wife, repairing furniture, and was an avid gardener.

Mass Monday, 11 A.M., at St. Bernadette Church, Northfield NJ. Visitation beginning at 10 A.M. Burial Private.

I grew up hearing, knowing, and appreciating the deep friendship my father, Dr. Morton Chase, had with Al (and his loving wife). Friends to the end, I send prayers to you Al. You were a rarity

Sorry to hear that my uncle Al DiEva passed. He was my fathers brother. I worked for my uncle many years ago. My deepest condolences to Lorraine and my cousin Joe, and to all the of their families. I will miss my uncle, he was special.

Al DiEva was one of my Father's best friends for decades. Morty Chase, a dentist in South Philly and Al became fast friends somewhere in the 60's. Morty found great joy in his friendship with Al ( as well as Lorraine ). When my Father passed, I received a call from Al, who was very saddened to hear of his passing. When I read the notice of Al's death, I feel like my Father's heart also registered the loss inside me. From all of the Chase's, we collectively and sadly say farewell.
