OTTO KESSLER Memoriam
OTTO KESSLER
December 1942 - April, 2015
He was a loving and caring presence for his wife, Mary Ann and his children, Andrew and Shayna. He responded fully and generously to all who sought his help. As we mourn our loss, we remain grateful for the community of friends and family that he left behind. He would have joyously embraced his new grandchild, Otis, as he did his son-in-law, Matt and daughter-in-law to be, Evelyn.
We recall with pride Otto's 50 years of engagement in the fields of radar and data fusion at NADC, ONR-Europe, DARPA, and MITRE Corp. and his role in creating fusion communities globally. We admire his endur-ing commitment to his family, his work, and his colleagues. Most of all, we treasure his insistent confrontation with what was wrong and might be put right, and his fighting spirit that lasted to the end of his days and that we will cherish to the end of ours.
