JOHN FOX Obituary
FOXJOHN J., age 89, of Upper Darby, PA passed away at on December 4th, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Daley) Fox. John shared 62 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary T. (nee Corey) Fox. A World War II Army veteran, he served as an Upper Darby Police Officer for thirty two years and was a member of the Delaware County F.O.P. Lodge 27. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Alice Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed photography and was a coin collector. He is survived by brother-in-law Sam (the late Ann) Basile and sister-in-law Margaret "Peg" (late Francis "Bud") Corey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Monday at 10:45 A.M. at St. Francis Country House, 1412 Lansdowne Ave., Darby, PA 19023 with a visitation for family and friends 9:30 - 10:40 A.M. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Lucy Day School for Children with Visual Impairments, 4251 "L" St., Phila., PA 19124.
