Earl L. Wilson - such a gentleman, one of the finest people I have ever met! Recently, I was thinking about Earl Wilson and how much fun it is to be in his presence. It occurred to me that it had been awhile since I heard from him and I better make sure to give him a call. Based on the postcard thoughtfully sent by his family, that was the same weekend of his passing. Earl's voice and laugh are forever in my heart. In his memory, I will do my best professionally and personally to be an encouraging mentor and friend as Earl Wilson was - and is - for me.

To Earl's Family
Please accept our heartfelt condolences as we are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend Earl Wilson. I had the pleasure of meeting Earl at a Sheriff's conference I attended with my husband Tim Miller many years ago in Seattle, Washington. I will never forget his kindness. Through the years we became great friends. He would share his recipes with me on how to make bean soup and his famous roll and bread recipes. I will cherish our many conversations about his childhood helping his mother prepare meals for his family, his military experience and the love of his family and friends. I will always remember Earl attending my retirement party in New Jersey as his personality was larger than life and he never met a stranger. He will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Earl was a tremendous guy and a true friend. I would see him at almost every major PA or national conference and he would always make time to say hello and to chat for a while. Huge loss and he will be missed. May God's love be with him and his family!

To Earl's Family
Both my wife and I regret not being able to attend Earl's funeral today. We loved this man and now regret not spending more time with this gentleman of a man. He was very kind soul. My deepest Sympathy.
