Beloved wife of John "Jack"; loving mother of Michael, devoted daughter of Joseph and Veronica Skabla; sister of Susan Frech, JoAnn Naimoli, Catherine Rodgers, and Joseph Skabla, Jr. She will be sadly missed by many loving family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial, Thurs. 11 AM Presentation B.V.M., Old Soldiers Rd., Cheltenham. Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. I keep you close to me in everything I
do. I can not say it enough how much David & I miss you, it doesn't seem to get easier I still want to call you to go out shopping,go to dinner. I can't even go into Macy's or the makeup counters & Beautyland,at the stores, That was our special thing that we did,its just to hard. I don't even go shopping anymore just not the same with out you. my heart has a big break in it seems like it just keeps getting bigger.
I talk about you & daddy all the time its really what has gotten me threw the last few years, keeping your memories alive in our hearts.
We planted 6 butterfly bushes this year on your birthday and petunia in our flower pots. Tomatoes for daddy.Hopefully when we move to CA.& Then to Italy, we can take them with us.
I miss so much pattie, when I lost you & daddy i feel like i lost my family nothing will ever be the same.

I came across this in doing a random search for people from school. Pattie was a beautiful woman. She made a huge impression on me as a young girl and have thought of your family many times throughout the years. I cannot imagine your pain. What is it about having a sister ? I am one of the luckies to have had such great sister. Pattie, starting out first teaching us so many things that maybe at first we didn't realies all the things. The obvoius Beauty, senativity, smarts, love , devotion, Strength & incredible Courage.
Most of your childhood in shareing secrets, learning how to do make up or hair, having little fights when you take shirt or makeup or competing for attention and then one day you grow up and realize she is not onlya great sister but one of your best friend. I am greatfull for having such a great family and bee able to appreciate some of lifes greatest gifts Family, sisters & best friends and the greatest gif of all our my memmories of all the things we did together. You were my very first friend I made in Presentation. Was it second grade or third grade? Boy were we two of a kind! I had my first experience with electric ranges at your house. I also learned how to iron over at your house!! I know your mom remembers those days! We quickly became best friends.My fondest memories are of us(you, me,Bettyanne,Linda, Pat Jeske)going to St. Tim's dances on Friday nights..Our lady of Ransom on Saturday nights and Wagners on Sundays..Remember the Boulavard dance.... The balcony..... The crazy bus rides home... Our freshman year at Dougherty.....the football games....Sister CHA CHA .I could go on and on..

Pattie, You meant so much to me, even though we would only see each other twice a year: Soar at the Shore and good old IRISH WEEKEND.....

To Jack, Michael, Family & Friends,

Everyone who knew Pattie could write their own book about her. One I am sure would be called the "Most Wonderful Princess of All." She really loved being that Princess too. She was a good wife, mother, daughter, sister and wonderful friend to so many. She was unique and one of a kind. She loved life. She was kind, considerate, generous, fun and pretty inside and out. Jack would always say "Isn't she so cute. Anyone who knew Pattie knows exactly what that meant. Yes, she was pretty and cute on the outside but it was her cute personality that always shine through. Pattie was Pattie. She was the type that when you met her you could not help but love her. Family and friends were so important to her. She had so much love in her for so many people.

To Jack, Michael, her Mom, Dad, her sister's, Susan, Joanne, Cathy, her brother Joey and to all her family and many good friends she had a lot of love to give and showed it in her special way.

Pattie was just amazing. She dealt with her illness with grace and courage. She lived her life to the fullest. She put up a good fight against her horrible disease. Through all of this she was always a joy to be around.

Pattie has touched and influence so many people lives. We all are blessed to have had Pattie in our lives. We will miss you greatly. Pattie will always live on because we will carry her in our hearts forever.

Pattie was not only my sister, but my best friend. The fond memories of our youth are etched forever in my heart, but the memories of us as adults will forever be etched in my soul. We shared so much more that we grew even closer then even we thought sisters could be; for that's when we became and always will be best friends. My only regret was when I went away, but even then the miles between us could not seperate one from the other. And so it will be even now the distance between us is only as far as my voice to the sky. Pattie, I love and will miss you so very much, forever & ever, until we meet again in the arms of Our Lord.

Never worry about Jack and Michael, I will always take care of them for you.

Dear Pattie, Jack and Family,

We are very grateful to have known Pattie all these years, and will miss her fondly, we will pray for her entrance into heaven, which will undoubtly happen anyway.
