Franklin D. Krall, 84, husband of Elsie C. (Kulp) Krall, widower of Elizabeth A. (Scott) Krall, of Gilbertsville, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Pottstown Hospital. Born in East Berlin, Pa, he was the son of the late Catherine P. (Miller) and Charles R. Krall. Franklin served in the Army and worked for many years as an operating engineer for local union 542. Surviving in addition to his wife, are one son, Robert Krall, husband of Debra; two daughters Kathy Krall and Stuart and Kimberly, wife of Bud Lightcap; four grandchildren, Conner, Jacob, Alexis and Brian; five step-children, Donald, Eugene, Robert, Lisa and Scott; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn and one brother Donald. He was predeceased by one step-son Keith and one brother Richard. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:30AM at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30AM. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories On lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org).
