Left to cherish her memory are her six children- daughter Nancy, and sons Richard, Wayne (Joy), Wilfred Jr., Dean (Roberta), and Brian; grandchildren Traci, Wendy, Jennifer, David, Hannah, and Grant, and two great-grandsons Zachary and Dakota.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday March 20 with funeral services Thursday March 21 at 11am- both at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Norfolk.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sentara Princess Anne Hospital ICU, 3B, and 5B for their never ending care and compassion for our mother during her stay. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad or Virginia Beach SPCA.

Wayne, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. I wish I had had the opportunity to have met her. She had to have been a wonderful mother to have such an amazing son. My prayers are with you and your family.

Brian, I am sorry about the news of the passing of your mother. My prayers are with you and the rest of your family. I know how it feels to lose a mother, but knowing they are in a better place makes some of the hurt go away little by little. I think about you alot and that great fudge and once I recover from my surgery, how about some chocolate cake. Love Your Godly Sister, Cindy Smith

It has been nice knowing you as a kind wonderful neighbor. I have missed seeing your smiling face during your illness as I walk by your house each day with my little dog. I am delighted you are content now being with our Lord and I will look forward to seeing Brian, Nancy, and Richard.
