Peppi Lynn Redmon
Virginia Beach - Peppi Lynn Redmon, 57, September 1, 1956 - April 4, 2014 peacefully departed this earth with her daughters by her side. She was born and raised in Alexandria, VA and graduated from Groveton High School. Peppi spent the summers growing up visiting her grandparents in Clearwater, FL. She had many fond memories of the beach and her times spent with family.
Peppi had a Zest for life, a vibrant generous personality and took shear joy in making others happy. The love she had for her children and grandchildren could not be matched! Whether it be as room parent, team mom or the principal of Jones Roofing, she always put her heart into everything she touched.
She will be forever remembered by her family. She is survived by her parents, Bernard and Sherry Jones; brothers, Mark Jones and his wife, Patricia, and Chris Jones and his wife, Michelle; children, Kristy Winfield and her husband, Ross, and Katie Nicoll and her husband, Clint; and her four grandchildren, Aiden, Adeline, Alijah and Asher, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her hospice nurse, Monica Burns, and all who helped make her last few months as peaceful as possible.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Peppi's Honor may be made to CHKD, PO Box 2156, Norfolk, VA 23501. So sad to here of Peppi's passing. Too young. I remember her from my days of as Athletic Director at Cape henry Collegiate and as a teacher and coach of her daughters, Kristi and Katie. She had a huge supply of energy and caring for those around her. My best to the family.
