Virgie Ward
Virginia Beach - Born March 12TH, 1913 native of Bluefield, VA., died at the blessed age of 100 years old - at the Golden Living Center in Petersburg, VA. On May 10, 2013 following a recent bout with pneumonia. She is predeceased by her late husband Robert Ward, and was the oldest of 12 children - she is survived by her 4 children - Pat Rose of Richmond, VA. Frances Ward of VA Beach, VA. Danny Ward of Suffolk, VA and Carol Firooz of California - she was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, AND 5 great-great grandchildren. Virgie lived for over 25 years with her beloved & devoted daughter Frances Ward at the Mayflower Seaside Apartments in Virginia Beach. There they enjoyed many long walks on the boardwalk taking in the sunshine & fresh air; often dining in the seaside cafes while observing the tourists. A private memorial luncheon was held in honor of the deceased at the granddaughter's home in Midlothian, VA. - Where family & many close friends came together to celebrate the longevity of her precious 100 years. "While she is no longer with us - she is present with her Lord."

Your baby sister, Alene went to be with the Lord earlier this year. You have one brother, Uncle Raymond still with us. RIP lovely lady. Your siblings are with you now.
