Margaret Louise Ange, born July 7, 1927 in Harbinger, NC to Luther Parker and Estell Guard Parker passed away peacefully April 25, 2013. She is now in the Embracing Arms of her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and "The Love of her Life" for 65 years, Maurice Lan Ange, a retired Lieutenant on the Norfolk Police Department, a WWII Marine Veteran and a 50 year Masonic Veteran. She will also be reunited with her beloved Poodles Petitte, Bridget and Monteil.
Margaret is survived by a brother-in-law, Allen Rowe of Franklin, VA; her loving and caring God daughter, Theresa Brock Sawyer and husband Wayne Clarke Sawyer Sr.; a very close and dear friend, Kathie Gerber and husband Greg of Norfolk, VA; her many nieces and nephews who will cherish her loving memory always.
Margaret was a life-long member of Laurel Avenue Church of Christ in Chesapeake where she served on many Ladies Committees including Lamp Light Circle. Margaret worked for many years at Employment Consultants in Norfolk, VA and was a secretary to the Admiral on the Norfolk Naval Station. Margaret was an Alzheimer's Patient for 14 years but always lived life with peace and love in her heart for everyone.
A special thank you from the family to all of the wonderful staff and nurses and Dr. Robert Palmer of The Memory Center in Virginia Beach. The love and care administered by the staff for her was impeccable.
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Blair Yager of Laurel Ave. Church of Christ at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial flowers can be sent or memorial donations can be made to the or to the SPCA in Chesapeake, VA.
