Irene Gagnon Obituary


Irene M. Gagnon VIRGINIA BEACH - Irene Mary Gagnon, 85, passed away March 6, 2008. Mrs. Gagnon was born and spent most of her life in Manchester, N.H. She moved to Virginia Beach in 2001. She retired as a supervisor from Manchester Knitted Fashions after 42 years of service. She was Catholic by faith. Survivors include two sons, Michael Gagnon and his wife, Yong Ui of Virginia Beach, Guy Gagnon and his wife Rebecca of Jacksonville, Fla.; two granddaughters, Michele Gagnon of Norfolk and Krista Gagnon of Jacksonville; two stepgranddaughters, Monique Dunham and Alicia Haynes of Virginia Beach; one great-granddaughter, Monet Dunham; three sisters, Connie Lemieux, Doris Bellemare, Grace Martel; and two brothers, Emile Dube and Ronnie Dube. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home where a celebration of Mrs. Gagnon's life will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends may send tributes to her permanent memorial at www.mem.com.
