Kathleen White-Grangruth Obituary
Norfolk - Kathleen A. White-Grangruth, age 61, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Born on June 14, 1956 in Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada where her father was stationed during his Naval service. Kathy spent her early years traveling with her parents and four sisters during her father's 20-year military career until they settled in Norfolk, Virginia where she primarily lived most her life.
She graduated top of her nursing school class in the United States Army where she went on to serve her county and fellow man at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Kathy's passion was always to help and give to others. She was most proud to serve the Lord as an Oblate.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice White. She leaves her father William White of Virginia Beach, VA, her daughter, three grandsons and four sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at Saint Marks Catholic Church in Virginia Beach at 11:00am on Saturday, April 21st.
