I was deeply sadden to find out about Ms Coston passing. Due to the fact that me and mother had just discussed three weeks ago that I was going to utilize her for my vocal training. Based off of her great experience in the Perfoming Arts. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. And may the family find comfort.

We first met Lisa almost 20 years ago when she rented one of our apartments and we became friends. We will always remember her soft speaking voice and her huge, booming laugh; a laugh that just made you want to laugh right along with her. She had a lovely singing voice, although we only had the pleasure of hearing her sing a couple of times. She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of hearing Lisa Coston sing several times and her voice was amazing. She could make a normally dull aria absolutely mesmerizing. Her voice and beautiful smile will be missed by the music community of Hampton Roads. My condolences to her family.

Lisa and I sang together during our years together at ODU. She was a marvelous musician, and possessed a voice that would stop traffic! She will be missed by her family, her friends and her colleagues. May God grant her family peace at this time.

This is very saddening news. However, as the great spiritual reminds us "If Jesus Himself will be our leader, we shall walk through the valley (of the shadow of death) in peace."
