Juanita T. Rasnake

Chesapeake - Juanita T. Rasnake, 81, of Chesapeake went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 15, 2014 after an unexpected illness. Family and friends are saddened by the loss, yet heaven and the angels rejoice as they have received one of their own.

Juanita was born in Gainesville, GA and lived most of her life in the Tidewater area. She was a long-time member of Kingdom Life Ministries. She was devoted to her church and community. She will be remembered for her quiet life of love and service for her family, friends and neighbors.

Juanita is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 16 years, Carl E. Rasnake; three daughters, Carlena Rasnake Kool and husband Ryan, Diana Rasnake Weaver and husband Donnie, Terri Rasnake Sawyer and husband David; grandchildren, Jesse A. Kool, Anna Marie Kool, Adam W. Dendy, Colton Brown, Amanda S. Spence and Charles Victor Sawyer, III; four great-grandchildren and a host of beloved friends and neighbors.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, at Kingdom Life Ministries. Pastor Randy Wooden will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
