To the family of Jeremy Wise,
Jeremy is a man who could bring a smile to the face of anyone he met. I was honored to go through Navy "A" School with Jeremy. We also went through BUD/s together, Jeremy made it through and I did not. We stayed in touch with emails from time to time. The time I spent with Jeremy left a lasting impression that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. He was a good friend and brother. My condolences to his family and all who knew him.

Dana, Ethan, Mr. Jean and Mrs. Mary, Ben, Beau, Heather and family. As someone who has "been there" my heart truly aches for each and every one of you! To lose a loved one is possibly the worst pain we humans have to experience but to lose such an extraordinary man of God, Country and family as Jeremy is an enormous loss to our whole community, country and future. Wise family-Thank you for raising such an outstanding man that everyone looked to for humor, morals, love and God! He was a true warrior that I am SO proud and honored to have met. I will continue to keep you in my prayers as you have lost a beautiful son and brother. He will never be forgotten! Never!
Dana and Ethan, I am beyond crushed for you. Your strength and grace astonish me! I know Jeremy will always be watching over you, you have a VERY special guardian angel now! Be assured that I will be here for you! I want to do anything I can to be there and provide any kind of help at all! Be confident in prayer and the truth of God’s word will sustain you. Stay this strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. You had a great love! The greatest! It will always live in you both. You will be able to keep that love alive for the rest of your lives. It doesn’t stop today because Jeremy left this earth! Remember that love, hold onto it and let it along with God keep you warm.
Love, Michelle

Dear Wise family,
I have kept you all in my prayers, and will continue. My son served with Jeremy, and thought he was a great man. I know God will give you comfort and strength, and peace knowing Jeremy is with Him. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Dana and family,
I pray that God carries you through this time in your life. Though we didn't know your husband, it gives me chills to think of a man that gave his life for our freedom. Even more importantly now though is the woman and family that stood behind that man. Please know that you are not forgotton and the sacrafices that you and your family have made will never be forgotten. We have prayed that God comforts you all in this time of need. Sincerely, The Garabrandt family

Dana, Nathan and Beau,
I am truly sorry to hear the news of Jeremy. We are all better people knowing him, he always took the time to say hello and shake my hand when he came to the JCC. He always attracted a crowd with his intense workouts. Dana we could see the love you had for him by the way you looked at him. Beau you saw Jeremy as a role model for the Seals. All of us from the JCC have you in our prayers. Mark, Alan and Jet

Jeremy was like an older brother to me at Hendrix. I have so many memories of his great sense of humor and smile. I also remember meeting his wonderful family at his graduation. While I will not be able to attend his funeral, please know that Jeremy and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Jeremy Jason Wise - I am so sorry for your loss and words seem so inadequate at this time. Please know that you are all in my prayers and I know that the wonderful memories you have of Jeremy will sustain you. It is never long enough when we lose someone we love so deeply but when they have lived life to the fullest and been the kind of person willing to go the distance you should be proud. We as Americans are so fortunate that your son/husband was willing to protect us when other cannot. I know what you are feeling - been there myself and if you ever want to share - write me. Dana, I know we have never met, but I have experienced the type of loss you are going through. My late husband was EODC Paul Darga kia 8/22/06. We have friends in common and my daughter, 2 1/2 at the time of her father's passing, now attends Norfolk Christian. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers and that I am here any time you might like to talk. May God comfort you and carry you through this difficult time as He did with me.

My sons and I are praying for you today, and wish to send you strength and comfort. Like your Jeremy, the man of our house is a quiet professional far away. I miss the fellowship of other military wives. Just wanted you to know there there are others out here waiting just like you, and we are praying for you today.

Dana, I'm not sure what to say in this situation, it's been a couple years since we've seen each other. I can only imagine your sadness b/c I'm now engaged to Dominic and he's constantly deployed with the SEALs and it's a fear that lives inside all of us who are married to these guys. I remember meeting Jeremy at Knuckleheads and what a wonderful man he was!! I'm so glad you and Ethan were able to have those blessed years with him. I can't but be proud at what is being done over there and thankful for his sacrifice for our freedom. Mostly, I want to thank YOU for being that strong military/now, non-military wife you were and are. A lot of people forget what we also go through when our loved ones are deployed. If there's anything I can do please don't hesitate to contact me. The Powell's (your neighbors) have my number if you don't have it anymore.
May Jeremy rest in peace and be welcomed into the Gates of Heaven by our Lord.

I knew Jeremy while a student at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va. My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, son and family. I am honored to have known him, I am humbled at his service to our country, and yet I rejoice as he now is free - at home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
