Margaret I. Nottingham
Norfolk - Margaret Inez Nottingham departed this life on November 30, 2012. She was one of eight sisters and seven brothers born to Henry and Julia Nottingham on October 30, 1916 in Bayview, VA.
Margaret moved to Norfolk, VA in 1938. There she found employment at Virginia Pharmacy continuing until her retirement in 1969. She subsequently worked for sisters, Frances and Laura Kierstead.
She leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Dr. Winston (Carrie) Nottingham of Silver Springs, MD.;one sister, Mrs. Drusilla Burney of Philadelphia, PA; nieces, Theresa (Ronald) Frances of Landsdowne, PA, Shirley Nottingham, Lottie Nottingham, Dr. Liesl Nottingham, MD.; nephews, Lawrence Burney, Junius Nottingham; and other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
A service will be held 1 p.m. on Friday at First Church of Christ (Holiness), Norfolk. Hale Funeral Home is in charge. www.halefuneralhome.com
