Edward Morningstar Obituary

Edward J. Morningstar Jr.
Virginia Beach - Edward Joseph Morningstar Jr., passed away in his home on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. He was born on March 19, 1942. He is remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband, father, papa, and devoted family man. Edward was retired from the USN, a retired Norfolk Sheriff's Deputy, and a retired A&P Arms concealed weapons instructor. His favorite hobbies and past times included hunting, fishing, amusement parks, and motorcycles.
He is predeceased by his parents Edward, Sr., and Mary Morningstar and two grandsons. He leaves behind his wife Linda Morningstar, three sons, one daughter, nine grandsons, three granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
Family and friends will be celebrating his life with a memorial service on August 20, at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home located at 6329 E. VA Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA. Following the service, burial will be in Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA with full military honors. Friends and family of Edward are encouraged and welcome to attend. I will always remember Mr. Morningstar as a good friend and, a positive and insperational figure in my life and in my friends life. May God Bless all of you.
