Ed Roebuck Obituary
Norfolk - Ed Roebuck, 74, passed quietly on Sunday, November 3rd after a long fulfilled life. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, nationally known artist, and proud Marine. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Gloria; his two children Eddie Roebuck and his wife Tracy, and Rebecca Gardner and her husband Scott; his 3 grandchildren Josh, Joanna, and Jacob, whom he adored. He also had 11 brothers and sisters; Bobby, Maurice, Jimmy, Gene, Becky, Sammy, Dwight, Sally (deceased), Phillip, Kenny, Joyce, and their families. Ed shared his love of art and his words of wisdom with many who crossed his path. The funeral service will be held at Hollomon- Brown 8464 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA 23518 on Saturday at 3:00 pm. Ed's website, www.edroebuck.com , will be launched by November 13th. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Ed was a talented graphic artist, a loving husband to Gloria, & a great father. He was so encouraging to me about my sketching. I am sure he is being missed by all of his family and friends.

Gloria, I am so sorry to read of Ed's passing. It has been so long since we have seen each other; though I have often thought of you two & the devotion you had for each other & the night Ed was hurt at the Peppermint Club. Oh, how we danced!

I only met Ed a few times, but have known Eddie and Tracy for about 25 t years. I can tell you the few times I was around him, he was full of life, the life of the party. Many prayers for his wife, and his entire family. Enjoy all the memories that were made, and take comfort in knowing Ed had a great life, with family, and friends who loved him. I will be praying for his family during this difficult time.
