I am so sad to hear of Meg's passing, she was such a great person. I know that she is with her soul mate, AJ as they both left too soon. You and your family are in my thoughts

Meg, we will miss you, but know that you are in a better place accepting Jesus as Lord of your life . We will meet again in heaven. Till then.

Dear Meg's Family, I was shocked to read of Meg McIntyre's death, my colleague of long ago at Boone Clinic. My heart goes out to you, her family.
Meg came to Boone clinic directly from her peds residency at PNH. She was shocked at our "old fashioned" equipment and promptly campaigned to rectify that situation. The next thing we knew, we had (the relatively new) pulse oximeters and modern infusion pumps!
More importantly, for me personally, she kept after me " to go get that sty on your eyelid looked at". I did, and it turned out to be a squamous cell carcinoma for which I had surgery and long term follow up by the Tumor Board.
She was an esteemed colleague and an excellent, dedicated pediatrician. She happily shared her recent "state of the art" knowledge from her residency and yet did not hesitate to "consult" with us older, more experienced pediatricians when needed.
We lost touch after she left Boone and went into private practice. Hence, the shock of her untimely death.
You, her family, are in my thoughts and prayers,
Sincerely, Carolyn J. Huntley, M.D.

Meg was absolutely fabulous to work with at Maryview Medical Center Nursery. Her love and dedication to her work and family will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to her family in this difficult time. May fond and loving memories soon replace the pain in your hearts at this time.
