Judith Ann Lewis
Norfolk - Judith "Judy" Ann Lewis died at her home from liver disease on November 27, 2017. She was born in Grand Forks, ND on March 10, 1957 to the late Charles and Charlotte Lewis. She resided in Norfolk, VA from 1988 until her death.
She graduated from Annandale High School and Virginia Commonwealth University and spent her career in Rehabilitation Counseling. She retired in April 2016 from Restore Rehabilitation.
Judy was a supporter and "unofficial docent" at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. She also was a volunteer usher with Virginia Stage Company at Wells Theatre.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Lewis, of Schenectady, NY, sister, Janet Moyer, of Raleigh, NC, and step-mother, Jane Lewis, of Lancaster, PA.
The family is planning to honor Judy at the Norfolk Botanical Garden and at the Lewis family plot at National Memorial Cemetery in Falls Church, VA. Details of these events will be posted in this paper. Judy was not only a neighbor but a friend.. We took care of each others pets when needed. And as a side note-- she loved fried green tomatoes... RIP Judy
