Mia Nichelle Alston, 29, born on April 1, 1989, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Mia is survived by her mother, Sabrina Ridley-Alston and two siblings, Ashleigh Alston and Mathias Colson, Virginia Beach and her father, Rodney Alston of Chester, Connecticut and four siblings, Rodney, Jr., Ava, Elena and Brayden Alston; her paternal grandparents, Stanford and Saundra Sims of Chesapeake. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. in New Life Church, Kempsville.
