Freddie N. Armstrong, 75, of Mount Washington, returned to the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.
Freddie was a 1961 graduate of Mount Washington High School, a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran, a member of the Mount Washington Lions Club and First Baptist Church of Mount Washington.
He retired as a superintendent at Ford Motor Company after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Marion Armstrong; brothers, Don Farrell, Glenn, H. Kendal, George B. and Aaron Armstrong; and sisters, Cheryl L. Stewart and Ramona A. Harrington.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Cox Armstrong; daughter, Melanie (Randy) Lutes; sister, Maxine Romine; brother, Barry Armstrong; along with three grandchildren, Randi Gail, Jamie and Kelli.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial to follow in the Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
Memorial gifts may go to First Baptist Church of Mount Washington.
