Joyce Clausen Obituary
PEORIA HEIGHTS - Joyce A. Clausen, 87, of Peoria Heights passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Washington Senior Living in Washington.
She was born on July 25, 1933, in Peoria to Wallace and Ann (Carrigan) Milloy. She married Donald Clausen on June 21, 1957, in Peoria. He passed away in August of 1984.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Verne Milloy; and two sisters, Lois Milloy and Sharon "Guppy" Litchfield.
Surviving are one brother, Lyle (Carol) Milloy of Washington; one sister, Lou Lowe of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
Prior to retiring from Caterpillar, Inc., Joyce worked at Bergner's in Peoria.
Joyce was a member of the United Methodist Church in Peoria, where she was an active volunteer for many years.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Tim Osment officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or UnityPoint Hospice.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
