Jane Schwarzenbach Obituary

Jane Schwarzenbach, 90, of Cresco, died Friday, Jan. 6, at Pleasant Valley Manor, in Hamilton Township. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Schwarzenbach.

Born in Paterson, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Green McClinton.

She was a member of the Oaks Senior Community in Cresco and attended St. Bernadette's Church where she frequently baked for the Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Ellen Conroy and her husband, Bill, of Canadensis; two sons, Edward Schwarzenbach and his wife Carol, of North Carolina, and John Schwarzenbach and his wife, Barbara, of Pennlyn; five grandchildren, Lori, Dean, Lisa, Jamie and Kelsey Schwarzenbach and William John Conroy; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, George; and two brothers, Edward and George McClinton.

Father Alfred Vito will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Paterson, N.J.

There will be a viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390, in Paradise Valley.
