The spirit of Winnie Agnes (Williamson) May of Montgomery AL on July 17, 2016 peacefully left her body to join the Lord. She was born October 12, 1934 in Panola County MS and married Cecil Richard May, Jr. April 15, 1954 in West Memphis, AR. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Vernon Williamson; mother Mary (Bankston) Williamson; sisters Sara Kuykendall (N.W.) of Memphis TN, Francis Kesterson (Aubrey) of Chula Vista CA, and Bernice Fowler (Rupert) of Batesville MS; and brothers Wallace Hiram and Edwin Vernon (Bo Bo) of Panola County MS who died as children. She is survived by husband Cecil Richard May, Jr.; brother Glenn Maxwell Williamson of Southaven MS, daughter Betty Lozada (Ivan) of Sugar Land TX, son Cecil May, III (Patti) of Fulton KY, daughter Roslyn Miller (Andy) of Starkville MS, and son Richard May (JeannaLynn) of Yukon OK; grandchildren Cecil May, IV (Emma) New Braunfels TX, Bethany Cowdrey (Jared) of Edmond OK, Jonathan Miller of Starkville MS, Bradley May (Sarah) of Oklahoma City OK, and Brittney May of Wichita KS; one great-grandson Jax Scoggins of New Braunfels TX; and numerous dearly-loved nieces and nephews. Winnie graduated as an RN from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis TN. After serving as a nurse for several years, she worked alongside her husband Cecil as an active participant in his ministry of the gospel. She was an active member of University Church of Christ in Montgomery AL and Friends for Faulkner women's auxiliary of Faulkner University in Montgomery.

A celebratory memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at University Church of Christ in Montgomery AL. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Fulton Church of Christ in Fulton, MS. Burial will be at Pine Grove Church of Christ cemetery in Itawamba County MS. Senter Funeral Home in Fulton has been entrusted to help the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Magnolia Messenger in Kosciusko MS, the V.P. Black College of Biblical Studies at Faulkner University in Montgomery AL, or What God Has Joined Ministries in Yukon OK.
