Anna M. Ramey
PORT CLINTON: Anna M. Ramey, 91, of Port Clinton, OH,went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 29, 2013. She was born June 11, 1921 in Virginia, the daughter of Willard I. and Samantha G. (Steele) Hale. On October 15, 1938, she married Kinney E. Ramey in Wise County, Virginia.
Anna is survived by her children: Lavada Ann (Troy) Hall of Clyde, OH, Carol Sue (Carl) Keith of Buchanan, VA, Linda J. Base of Perrysburg, OH, Connie B. Harris of Marblehead, OH, Kinny W. Ramey of Little Rock, AR, Jane Schmitt of Port Clinton, OH, James C. (Louise) Ramey of Lebanon,VA.; brothers Charles "Tick" and Kenny Hale both of Coeburn, VA; and sisters June Van Dyke of Abington, VA and Dorothy Amos of Fenton, MI; and 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grand children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers: James "Jay" Hale, Ira Hale, Leon Hale, William "Buck" Hale and infant brother Samuel Hale.
Interment will 1PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2013, Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood, VA.
Memorial contributions may be made to Freewill Baptist in Tiffin, OH.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to the church. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
