PORT CLINTON: Nancy Louise O'Neal, 69, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

She was born on September 19, 1943 in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late Lester "Barney" and Florence (Gwinup) Luebcke. She was a 1961 graduate of Port Clinton High School. On September 23, 1961 she married Charles O'Neal and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2012.

Nancy was the Deputy Auditor for the City of Port Clinton from January 2, 1968 to June 18, 1978. She then became the Auditor for the City of Port Clinton from June 19, 1978 until her retirement on August 1, 2007.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Port Clinton; member of the Friends of Port Clinton Parks and also a member of the Port Clinton Harvest Festival. She was also past president of the Port Clinton Business and Professional Women's Club and the North Central Ohio Municipal Finance Officers Association. She was also active on the Republican Party Central Committee.

Survivors include her sons: Jeffrey O'Neal, Pemberville, Ohio and Brian (Lynne) O'Neal, Port Clinton; grandchildren: Kasey O'Neal, Meghan O'Neal, Rady O'Neal; sisters: Theda (Troy) Ball, Mechanicsville, Virginia and Marcia (Ronald) Blake, Killbuck, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11am with Pastor Ted Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
