Port Clinton - Norma Roston, 85, of Port Clinton, Ohio, formerly of Crestline, Ohio, died Monday, September 10, 2018, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center.

She was born in Crestline, Ohio on January 3, 1933, to the late Jennings H. and Lois Lamb. She married Daryl E. Roston on August 31, 1950.

She is survived by two daughters, two sons, two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law: Vicki Whitted, Port Clinton, Ohio, Daryl and Teresa Roston, Port Clinton, Ohio, Sue and Mike Conroy, Oak Harbor, Ohio, Steve and Karen Roston, Galena, Missouri. Additional survivors include five grandchildren and two brothers. Grandchildren include Matthew Whitted (wife Dana), Stacy Drummond (husband Bruno), Trevor Roston, Christian Roston and Grace Roston. Surviving brothers include Bill Lamb and Bud Lamb (wife Margie) of Crestline, Ohio and Ontario, Ohio, respectively. Also, she is survived by Conrad Vaughn of Galion, Ohio, who was her second husband in the eyes of God. She was married to her first husband, Daryl, for 53 years. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2003.

Norma graduated from Crestline High School in 1950. She continued her education at Bowling Green State University and Heidelberg University. She was an advocate for education and served on the Crestline Board of Education for several years. Also, Norma was a member of the Crestline English Lutheran Church and recently attended the Church of Truth Ministries in Port Clinton.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be forever missed. She loved playing bridge, travel, baking and her many friends.

Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Friday, September 14 with her brother Pastor William Lamb, and Pastor Fred Bleck officiating. Internment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Crestline will follow the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crestline Public Library, Crestline High School and Stein Hospice of Sandusky, in care of the funeral home.
