Hurley "Skip" Nance Obituary
Nance, Hurley "Skip" Born October 9, 1928 in Ohio to Alpha and Hurley Nance Sr., who preceded him in death. Hurley retired from E.J. & E. Railroad, Budd Plant, Gary Sanitary District and Vancom Bus Service. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 2151 and Amvets Post. He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Georgia; sons, Tony (Renita) Douglas and Chester White; stepsons, Emanuel Newbern, Reginald (Margie) Newbern; daughters, Marrenna, and Shirlene Newbern, Loretta Wilson; special brother-in-law, George Douglas; special grandson, Cory Sweet; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation and family hours Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. all services at Clark Road M.B. Church, 2841 Clark Road, Gary, IN. Rev. Pharis Evans, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
