Andrew Lee Jones Jr. age 85 departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Regency Hospital in East Chicago, Indiana. Andrew was a veteran of the United States Army and a life Member of the Amvets Post #6. He worked for A.P.Green as a bricklayer for many years until he retired in 1998. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Emma Jones, brothers Roosevelt (Gina) Jones, Willie and Tucker Jones and 3 sisters Louise Jones, Dorothy (Homer) Marberry and Barbara Jones. He leaves to cherish his fond memories loving wife of 43 years Doris Marie Jones, sons Andrew (Susan) III, Jeffrey and Marcus (Brittany) Jones; daughters Lisa Witherspoon and Andria Edge; brothers Lawrence (Virgie)and Teddie (Frances) Jones; sister Bessie Jones and sisters-in-law Glenda Jones and Eleanor Jones; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, September 21, 2018 from noon- 8:00p.m. with family hours from 6-8:00p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Funeral services Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church 2301 Roosevelt Street. Pastor Antwon Brown officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park
