Anna Mae (Robinson) Collins of Gary, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Methodist Hospital at the age of 71. In 2000, she earned a Ministry degree from An Open Door Bible College. She was a member of Old Path Church, where she served as President over the Woman's Ministry and preached and taught the gospel of Christ. She was ordained a prophet by Apostle Lynnell Walters, Old Path Church. Prophet Anna Collins retired from Gary Community School Corporation. She was born to the Late John, Sr. and Pirlen (Hailey) Robinson. She confessed and received Christ at an early age. Anna is survived by 1 brother, Edward Robinson; a loving and devoted niece (daughter), Elder Sharon Carter; 1 lifelong sister/friend Norma Allums; 5 great nieces; Jacqueline (Clyde) Scott; Elvina (Clancy) Jones; LaShunn Carter; Caroline (Tromain Sr.) Jackson; and Inez Berry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and many sons and daughters in the gospel. Visitation Saturday, November 25, 2017 9-11:00 a.m. Funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. all services at Old path COGIC 2075 Rush Place Lake Station, IN Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my dear aunt Anna. She was that soul that compelled me to stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! A true warrior for the LORD. The voice of reason, and heart of compassion. Go ahead Anna take your rest, your crown awaits you in glory!

My heart and prayers goes out to the family of such a woman (Prophet Collins) prophet would always tell me " never let anyone steal my joy " I would be going through and she always knew the right words to say to bring that smile on a person's face, she's going to be obedient and tell you what God is telling her to tell you then when she's done doing that Anna is going to do her and make sure you do exactly what God told her to tell you to do added with a smile and she would say you hear what I'm saying ☺ I love you Prophet and Friend Rest In Paradise
