My condolences and prayers to the Chatters family. Mr Chatters was my uncle Arbere Swan friend and later would become friends with my Dad. Aubrey Sr. and my dad, Carl Swan, bonded because they both enjoyed people and enjoyed sharing stories surrounding their sons that attended Purdue. I learn more about Chatters jr. through conversations our father than through attending Purdue with Chatters. I owe my friendship with Jr. To Chatters Sr. That's a friendship worth having

I met Mr. Chatters and Laverne Hart when I rented the apartment on Delaware St. They never made me feel like a tenant, rather like family. Mr. Chatters was always working to maintain the property and I can honestly say he was the "best".

Condolences to The Chatters Family from The Scoggins Family.I remember Mr. Chatters as a Dad with a face that naturally smiled at you, humble but fierce at a moment notice, firm but fair and above all unconditionally devoted to his Family and Friends.the epitome of a father born during The Greatest Generation and a true Gary Roosevelt Panther..the type of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) real men are made of including you Aubrey.. I, too, loss my best friend when my Dad passed away in 2004 but he's never too far away because he lives in me just as Mr. C will always live in you.God Bless your family during this somber time.

My sincere condolences to you all - so sad to learn of the passing of Mr. Chatters. I have such fond appreciation for the time your family gave to me when I was a child and Mrs. Chatters would take care of me on Saturdays and wash & press my hair. Peace, love and blessings.
