Bertha Mae Parker, age 80 ended her earthly journey on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her home. She was the baby girl out of seven (7) siblings, four (4) brothers and three (3) sisters.Bertha was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucille Parker, siblings, Mildred Jackson, Quinn Parker (Fat Boy), Cleo Tucker, Edward Banks, Fuzzell Parker, and Roosevelt Parker. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister, Thelma Jackson, children Byron (Catherine) Padgett, Rosemarie Padgett, Kevin (Laura) Padgett, and Lora Jean Nash. A host of grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family and friends. Visitation Saturday January 28, 2017 from 9:00a.m.-11:00a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00a.m. all service at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Gerald Hall officiating.
