age 75, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. He was the oldest child of Charles and Mary Lee Atkins. Charles retired from Praxair/Linde and Unilever. He also worked at Orville Redenbacher and Buffington Harbor. He was preceded in death by his parents and great granddaughter Ariel. He leaves to cherish his memories, His loving wife, Clastein; devoted son Mark'al (Cecelia); loving daughters, Tonya (Roberto) and Tashiko (David); granddaughters, Kiara and Jada; grandsons, Devon and Jordan; great grandchildren, Royce and Corey; brothers, Alphonso (Debra) and Reginald (Margaret); nieces, Regina and Alexis; nephews, Randall, Ryan and Alexander; and a host of loving extended family and friends. Visitation 9a.m.-11a.m. Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. Monday December 17, 2018. All Services at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 West 11th Avenue, Gary, IN.

To the family of Charles Atkins,
I met Chuck over 30 years ago. We worked together and became good friends. He was guy always smiling, always willing to give you a helping hand and always gave good advice. I will always remember Chuck as a true friend and he will surely be missed. I will keep the family in prayer.
