To Veronica and Sherry and the rest of the Sumbry Family: I was saddened to learn of the passing of your BELOVED mother, Mrs. Charlie Mae Sumbry.I remember her bright smile during our days at Pilgrim Rest, and her singing in the choir. One of the songs in which I remember her singing was: "Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there." May you all cherish the precious, precious memories of your mother, and know this: Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. May GOD continue to strengthen you in this most difficult hour.

To the entire family of Sis. Sumbry,

O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard: Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. (Psalms 66:8-9)

Your mother and grandmother was a great woman whom we enjoyed knowing over many years thanks for sharing her. Our family is praying for your family.

My Auntie Charlie Mae was the best. She always took great care of me and my sisters and my brother. She was a extraordinary cook and she made the best dinner rolls ever.!!! I always asked for the recipe, but she would smile and say it was a ancient Chinese secret and family secret and I never ever got that recipe, but myself and my siblings all remember those dynamic rolls. I send love and comfort to my cousins to let them know all will be well in time and that I love them very much and to stay strong!!! Love each other no matter what!!! We are strong together!!!
