Dale, Pat, Jackie and family, may the precious memories of your dear loved one, bring you comfort as you all endure the transition of Ms. Cherrie White exchanging time for eternity. May God grant her full rest from her labor. Ms. White truly marched on the battlefield as a soldier. A very settle and unique lady at all times. I remember her, from being my god parents next door neighbor and friend to Captain & Mattie Harris on Nichols Place.
Dale and I were buddies growing up. There were many great memories made on Nichols Place over those years that I still treasure today. May God continue to keep and bless you all through faith in Christ Jesus.

To the family of Miss Cherrie White,
I started my postal career in 1984. I worked with Miss Cherrie until her retirement. She was an inspiration to all of us! She was a very hard worker. She took all of us (New hires) under her wing and trained us to be good workers. During Black History Month, Miss Cherrie brought in the shoes that she wore when she marched with Dr Martin Luther King Jr. We were all impressed! She was an awesome lady! She will be missed by all the people who's lives she touched!

To Pat and Jackie I thank you for sharing your mom with the world. Who would dream Cherrie White would come from picking cotton in the cotton fields, to marching for civil rights with her daughter and Martin Luther King Jr., to attending the Inauguration of the first Black President of the United States of America. The news reporters from several papers carried her story. I love my God Mother and I will really miss her. She has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old. My condolences to the family and all of the many close friends in her life.
