Cipriano Garcia Obituary

CIPRIANO GARCIA Age 71 of Hobart, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2003. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the United States Army serving two tours in Korea where he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple heart. He was a member of the Social Organization of Mexican Independence Day Parade. Sociedad-Mutualista-Mexico and the Glen Park Eagles. He will be lovingly missed by his sons, Phil Garcia of Hobart, and Cipriano (Barbara) Garcia of Portage; daughter, Crystal (Jerry) Cummings-Miller; stepdaughter, Tammy Garcia; brothers, John (Ann) Miranda of Lake Station and John (Aurora) Gutieriez of Las Vegas; sister, Mary Garcia of Chicago; grandchildren, Robert Martini, Charles (Amanda) Hoskins, David Garcia and Derrick Cummings; great grandchild, Payton Hoskins; nephews and nieces, John Miranda Jr. of Maryland, Debbie (Keith) Soderquist of Lake Station, Mark Miranda of Lake Station, John Gutierrez of Las Vegas, Eric Miranda of Florida, Teresa Gutierrez of Illinois, Scott Miranda of Indiana, Ann Marie Molden, Michael, Joey, and Cathy Gutierrez of Las Vegas and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Christopher Funeral Home, 1307 Central Avenue, Lake Station with Reverend Darrel Schultz officiating. Inurnment in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday November 9, 2003 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Christopher Funeral Home, (219)962-4115.
