So sorry to hear of Mr. Allen's passing. I learned the importance of keeping a well manicured lawn by watching how he, Mr. Eddie Jackson and my dad Elvin Deloney took care of their properties. Back in the day that little stretch of 13th Ave was a beautiful site to behold. I can just imagine the 3 of them in heaven tending to God's glorious garden. May God give you comfort in the memories.

Clem and I were on the first GPD Task force in 1968 and remained friends for years. He and Wardell Hampton and I had lunch together last Christmas. Little did we know it would be the last one for us to be together. He was a good cop and man of God. Our condolences and prayers to the family. All will miss his laugh and talk.

My sincere condolences to the Family of Clemmons Allen, Jr.

Clem and I worked on the GPD Task Force from 1968-70 and were not only Brother Police Officers but good friends, as well. Just last month, I was fortunate to receive a phone call from Clem and even though we hadn't talked in many years, we two dinosaurs had a great conversation!

Rest In Peace, Brother Clem, and know you'll not be forgotten! My prayers are with you and your family and I'm sure they will reflect on the wonderful days you had together. May God Bless you all!

To the family,

Clem is at peace. Think of the
good times and smile. For comfort read Ecclesiastes 3:1-15,17,19,20,22. Clem and I would talk every now and then back in the day. May The Creator bring you peace during this time.

To the Allen Family:
Sometimes God sends people into your life to aid, nurture and to be of service. Clem was one of those chosen people. He was there if he was needed. You could always learn a lesson from him. He was kind and dedicated. These are values that few have. Know that Clem is in God's care. He loved family, community and most of all, God. Take pride in knowing that Clem has been told, "Servant, well done."
