Clyde Jones Sr., 85, of Gary, IN passed away Tuesday February 14 2017. Born April 10, 1931 in Shiloh, GA to the late Horace and Ozella Jones. He was educated in the Talbatton County School System, Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired employee of Inland Steel corp. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Bobby, Ozzie and Robert James Jones. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Johnnie M. Jones; children, Clyde Jones Jr., Corliss Y. Jones, of Gary IN, and Quentin R. (Kim) Jones; grandson, Steffan Jones of Ada, Oklahoma; brother, Leon (Annette) Jones of East Chicago, IN; 2 sisters, Stella Biggs, Geneva Copeland of Manchester, GA; 2 sisters-in-law, Jean Jones, Johnnie F. Jones of Gary, IN; several nieces; nephews; other relatives; and devoted neighbor Mrs. Dorothy Tillman. Visitation Monday, February 20, 2017 from 9 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. All services at Northlake Church of Christ, 1000 E. 21st Ave. Friends may visit with family from 10- 11:00 a.m.
