Cynthia D. Watts age 85 passed away Monday October 22, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Gary, IN. Cynthia – affectionately known by her family and friends as the "Lovely One" and called "Cindy" – has been described by many as a beauty meaning she emanates unmistakable beauty both inside and out. She was a clerk for Inland Steel, retiring with more than 25 years of committed service. She was preceded in death by her parents Bossie Jackson (Father), Anna Jackson (Mother), Leneth Jackson (brother), Mable Jackson (sister), Stephen Crosby (son) and her beloved husband, Richard Dix Watts. She leaves to cherish her memories daughter Cheryl Denise Watts, daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Henderson; three grandchildren and Stephen Crosby Jr., Tijuanna (Darnell) Brown, Shalonda (Roy) Morgan, great grandchildren Stesha Crosby, Kirsten Crosby, Michael Jones, and Stephen Crosby III, great great grandchild Jamal Jones. Graveside service Monday October 29, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.
