Dorothy Mae Taylor, born May 21, 1924 to John and Anna Sherrill- Griffin in Camden, MS. She departed this life Saturday January 26, 2019. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and enjoyed being a stay at home mom. She was a member of Van Buren Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Timothy Taylor and son Lendrew D. Taylor. She leaves to cherish fond memories 3 daughters Margene Taylor Parker, Cecelia (Bruce) Anderson and Veronica (Ennis) Dunning. Son Timothy (LaDonna) Taylor; brothers-in-law JL Sanders and Joe Williams; Sister-in-law Rovanna Griffin of Orlando, FL; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Caregivers Mary Turner and Justine Hammond and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Van Buren Baptist Church, 2585 Van Buren St. Pastor Dwight Mobley, officiant. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.

My condolences to the family in the loss of aunt Dorothy. She was a fine women, mother and wife. I remember visiting in y'all home when we were all kids just cousins playing with each other. I pray that GOD comforts everyone during this time. Eartha Taylor
