Essie Lewis was born on April 3, 1932 in Augusta, Arkansas. She was a woman of faith, a devoted wife and a loving mother. Her daughters will always be thankful for being reared by a God-fearing, strong and inspirational woman. She stressed education and rejoiced when all of her daughters received their college degree.
