Gloria Jean Robinson was born May 2, 1935 to James Allen and Hattie Brown who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Moses, brother James and sister LaVerne. She passed away quietly on September 22, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends. Gloria was a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1953. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a tenured employee of the Northwest Indiana Community Action until her passing with 35 years of service. She leaves to cherish wonderful memories her children Tonda L. Robinson (Marshall) and Moses D. Robinson. Loving sister Mary Brown (Oliver); Nieces Adrienne Armant, Angela (Eric) Yarbrough; Nephews Kevin, Antoine, Darnell (Tiajuana) and Curtis Johnson; Lifelong friend Emma Brown and countless other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 12 to 8:00p.m. with Family Hours 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Funeral services Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 1917 Carolina St. Pastor W. N. Reed. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.

Thank you Ms Robinson for being a good and kind hearted friend to me while we worked at LCEOC..especially when I experienced the loss of my beloved husband.. you would call me and comfort my heart with your own heart and kind words.. rest in heaven now. You are greatly missed but never forgotten. I will always hold you close in my heart ❤
