Hattie Mae Carter born August 8 1932 in New Orleans LA to Calvin and Hattie (Jackson) Carter made her transitional journey on March 17 2018 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Hattie was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She confessed Christ at an early age and graduated from Froebel High School in 1951. Hattie was preceded in death by her father mother sister brothers and three grandchildren. Hattie leaves to cherish her memories children Michelle White Joseph (Llana) White Kim (Donald) Roby Darren (Jacqueline) Jones Mercedes (Climmie) Handley and April Burton; 7 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren Brothers Dennis and Alex Carter; Sisters Marolin Milan Ida Carter and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday March 24 2018 from 9-11:00-a.m. family hour 10-11a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
