Inez Elizabeth Chandler was born November 9, 1932 to Abraham and Annie Chandler. She was the youngest of six children and accepted Christ at an early age. She followed her older siblings and moved to Gary, Indiana as a young adult. She married Imogean Grady in August of 1958 and no children were born to this union. She worked various jobs as a young adult here in Gary and returned to Mississippi to become the primary caregiver to her mother and later her father. She was preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Annie Chandler, brothers Alexander Chandler, Ellis Chandler and Abraham Chandler Jr. ; sisters Thelma Ewing and Clara Dudley. She was the sole survivor of this branch of the Chandler family tree and they are now all reunited.She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sister in laws Geraldine Chandler of Gary, IN and Josephine Chandler of Chicago, IL and a host of nieces and nephews as well as great, and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Visitation Saturday March 10, 2018 from 9-11:00a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. all services at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church 1831 Virginia Street . Interment Evergreen Memorial Park .
