The Bell, Mackey, Rogers, and Robinson families would like to offer our prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Neely.

My family and I knew of Mr. Neely and his family per us being neighbors for years while residing on 13th Avenue & Waite Street. Mr. Neely was a good man to know. I always recall him waving at me either while at his home or cruising down the street in his Cadillac. I even remember him coming to my former employer Majestic Star periodically hanging out and entertaining himself.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him!!!

I have always loved and admired Uncle Jessie because of the kind of person he was. But how much I loved and admired him grew tremendously when he rode along with my husband Jessie and I on a ride to and from Memphis TN. I can't believe how in those short hours I learned so much more about him. And in those hours I learned that I had only scratched the surface of knowing how kindhearted and what a pure and beautiful soul he was. It's hard to type was because I know he still is.

Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Rest In Heaven Uncle Jessie.
