Kenneth M. Williams age 58 of Gary, Indiana departed this life on Friday April 20, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University Northwest. He was a lifelong member of Carter Memorial Church. Kenneth was also a member and treasurer for Brother 2 Brother organization at IUN. He was on the Supervisory Committee of Profinance Credit Union and also an assistant treasurer. Preceded in death by his sister Karen, grandmother Henrine Robinson 2 aunts and 1 uncle. Kenneth leaves to cherish his fond memories loving wife Janet Williams; parents Joe and Elizabeth Steele; sisters Nicole Barksdale and Dana Logan; two stepsons and two grandchildren; special friends Ricky Hite and Kevin Halliburton and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9-11:00a.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00a.m., all services at Carter Memorial Church 635 West 49th Avenue. Pastor Willie B. Weaver officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.

Kenny was a wonderful person like a little brother to me and I miss him so much. There will always be a place in my heart for him.
