Lea was born in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Holy Angels Elementary and Lew Wallace High Schools. Receiving a 1986 United Negro College Fund Scholarship, she graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta in 1990, with a B. S in Economics. She later worked for the Merrillville School Corporation. She leaves with loving memories her parents Fredra Walton Pulliam, and Willie D Pulliam (Amnuay). Siblings:, Beatrice Pulliam; William Pulliam, Sam Sutchaleo, Peecoon Allen, Joanne, Gilbert, John Gilbert, Jennifer Gilbert, Jamie Wilfield. Cousins: Rudy Rogers, (MN) Erica W. Rogers (DC), Keii '(Ke 'ah) Smallwood,(CO) Harry Hutchinson, DeShawn W Rogers, Marcy Cotton and CamRon W Rogers, Christopher and Deon (MN), Detra Yarbrough. Also, Ronald King, Doris King, Gregory Joiner (Arlene), Deanna Joiner-Yarbrough, Lynette Baker, Erick Pulliam, Dr. Olatunji Williams ((Felicia) Indlps, Jamal (Brandi) Williams, Safia and LaShawn Pulliam, James and Justin Pulliam (FL). Funeral Mass,Tuesday, March 6 at St Joseph/St Mark Church 330 E. 45th Ave, Gary, with Viewing in Church Vestibule 9-11am (Rosary at 10:15) Funeral Mass at 11am. Fr Kevin McCarthy presiding. Burial at Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart, IN.
